Peer Observation Groups 2014-2015

Peer Observations Groups are facilitated this year by EG's Innovative Technology Facilitator, Linda Ashida, and the three Division Technology Coaches, Rachel Barry (Math/Science), Mark Heintz (Social Science/World Language/ELL), and Kim Miklusak (English/Fine Arts).

Participation in the groups is voluntary and flexible.  Generally we meet throughout the year in two-week cycles:  One week we observe a peer, the next week we meet to reflect and discuss interdisciplinary applications to our own classes.  Sometimes we break from the observation cycle to do mini-workshops or sharing sessions related to common learning interests.  Sometimes when things get crazy busy, we take a week off.  Sometimes we observe peers in other groups, or outside of the POGs.  As you can see the groups are flexible to meet the needs and interests of each group.  Staff are welcome to join any time.
